Toastmasters Meeting: greenCOW Business Speakers

Terrified of public speaking? Love to talk in front of a crowd? Looking for a great place to network? Need something to do on Thursday night?

If any of these pertain to you, we would like to invite you to check out our bi-weekly greenCOW Business Speakers meeting.

greenCOW Business Speakers is a newly formed Toastmasters group in downtown Hammond that meets the second and fourth Thursday of every month in the Large Conference Room at greenCOW Coworking. There is ample free parking and the entrance is in back, on Fayette Street.

This group will focus on business topics such as writing a blog, creating podcasts, running a meeting, delegating tasks, etc. Many who have already joined are business owners. Becoming a better speaker will enable all of us to represent our business and ourselves much better. Toastmasters is about becoming better leaders whether we are leading our family, a department a non-profit group or our business.

Please join us on Thursday evening at 6:00PM! We are always looking for more people to grow the core group.

When you come to the event, we ask that you bring a jar of peanut butter to donate to the Northwest Indiana Food Bank. greenCOW Coworking, the location where this event is taking place, is one of the many businesses participating in the Peanut Butter Challenge to donate thousands of jars of peanut butter to food banks to help local families who are struggling with food instability.

greenCOW Coworking provides a working space for entrepreneurs, freelancers, students, instructors, etc. as well as a place to hold conferences, meetings, and training sessions.
